Tandem skydiving is the quickest and easiest way to experience the thrill of freefalling and flying without the hassle of going through all the training and theory yourself. On arrival your tandem instructor will give you a full briefing on what to expect during freefall, while under canopy and on landing. This is also the time to ask any questions and clarify any concerns.
The plane ride up takes about 20 minutes. At 9000ft the rolling doors of the aircraft opens and strapped to your instructor you exit the aircraft on his command, What follows is a 25-30 seconds freefall at 120mph/200km/h. Although this might be the most exhilarating moment of your life, remember to smile. Someone will be taking photos. At about 5000ft the instructor opens the parachute and a peaceful 3-5 minute parachute ride to the ground follows.
