The closest skydiving drop zone to Cape Town. Just a 40 minute drive from the city center.
On the way up in the aircraft you will have a view of Cape Town and Table Mountain to the south and further as far as Hout Bay, False Bay and Cape Point. To the west is Table Bay with Robben Island and to the north is the West Coast as far as Langebaan Lagoon.

Handicam video plus still photographs - Cost: R980
An optional handicam video and still photo package is available on request on the day.
Handicam is done by the Tandem Master who wears the camera on their left hand. The resultant HD footage is edited and that, together with approximately 150 12 megapixel photographs, are downloaded onto a branded USB Wristband for you to take home.
It is in the heart of the Swartland and at the right time of year you will have endless views of green grain and yellow canola fields. On clear days you will still see Table Mountain south in the distance and the Cederberg and Winterhoek Mountains going North.

Your incredible experience is captured by the tandem instructor with a purpose built handycam glove with a close/wide angle camera. Your every reaction and interaction with the instructor is captured from the time the parachute opens and your ride down. HD Video is about 5-7 minutes long plus 3-4MP photos.
Outside cameraman with video and photos - Cost: R1800
A highly trained freefall photographer will accompany you and your tandem instructor on your skydive. Your whole experience will be captured in Full HD video and high quality photos with SLR and video cameras mounted to a special camera helmet. This will give the outside perspective of your exhilarating experience all in high-quality media.
5-7 minute Full HD movie and 10+MP wide angle photos
This skydive dropzone is in the heart of the Paarl and Wellington farmlands.
It is surrounded by some of the best wine farms and only an hours drive from Cape Town. On your way up and during the jump you will have incredible views of the Cape Winelands, the Drakenstein Mountains, Table Mountain in the distance and the Atlantic Ocean.

Tandem skydiving is the quickest and easiest way to experience the thrill of freefalling and flying without the hassle of going through all the training and theory yourself. On arrival your tandem instructor will give you a full briefing on what to expect during freefall, while under canopy and on landing. This is also the time to ask any questions and clarify any concerns.
The plane ride up takes about 20 minutes. At 9000ft the rolling doors of the aircraft opens and strapped to your instructor you exit the aircraft on his command, What follows is a 25-30 seconds freefall at 120mph/200km/h. Although this might be the most exhilarating moment of your life, remember to smile. Someone will be taking photos.At about 5000ft the instructor opens the parachute and a peaceful 3-5 minute parachute ride to the ground follows.
