On arrival your tandem instructor will give you a full briefing on what to expect during freefall, while under canopy and on landing. This is also the time to ask any questions and clarify any concerns.
The plane ride up takes about 25 minutes. At 10000ft the rolling doors of the aircraft opens and strapped to your instructor you exit the aircraft on his command. What follows is a 45-50 second freefall at 120mph / 200km/h. Although this might be the most exhilarating moment of your life, remember to smile. Someone will be taking photos. At about 5000ft the instructor opens the parachute and a peaceful 3-5 minute ride takes you safely to the ground.

Malmesbury is situated about 70km/43mi from Cape Town City Center straight up on the N7 highway. The drive there is less than 1 hour.

It is in the heart of the Swartland and at the right time of year you will have endless views of green grain and yellow canola fields. On clear days you will still see Table Mountain south in the distance and the Cederberg and Winterhoek Mountains going North.
