Experience a day of adventure with a 24m waterfall abseil, cliff jumps from 2-14m high and a beautiful hike.
Join us in a privately owned canyon at the top of the Du Toitskloof Pass, just one hour’s drive from Cape Town. This hidden gem is carved deep into the mountains and offers one of the most exciting Kloofing adventures in the Western Cape. The canyon is surrounded by towering rock walls, lush moss, and crystal‑clear water flowing through a natural eye‑shaped rock pool — a magical setting created over centuries by the river’s force.

Your adventure begins with a short hike into the canyon, where our qualified guides introduce you to the unique features of the area and prepare you for the day’s activities. The first highlight is abseiling down two spectacular waterfalls. As you descend, you’ll feel the cool spray of the water and the thrill of lowering yourself into deep, refreshing rock pools. At the end of each abseil, you slide off the rope and splash into the water below, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and untouched nature. have our picnic lunch, soak up the sun and gradually make our way back up to the car park.

Once the abseils are complete, the rest of the day is spent exploring the canyon’s natural playground. You can test your balance on a slackline stretched over the water, challenge yourself with cliff jumps, or simply relax in the sun. The cliff jumps start at just 2 meters high, making them perfect for beginners and younger adventurers. As your confidence grows, you can progress to higher jumps, eventually reaching the exhilarating 14‑meter leap for those who want to push their limits.

This canyon is an incredible place for both younger kids and adults to explore their wild sides. The combination of waterfalls, rock pools, jumps, and slacklining creates a full‑day adventure that blends adrenaline with natural beauty. Midway through the experience, we take a break for a picnic lunch beside the water, giving you time to soak up the sun and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

After lunch, we gradually make our way back up to the car park, taking in the views of the canyon one last time. Whether you’re seeking excitement, natural beauty, or a unique outdoor experience, Kloofing in the Du Toitskloof Pass delivers an unforgettable adventure for all ages.
